JT Farm Wins at Old Salem Farm and CN Winter Equestrian Festival Wellington, FL - February 5, 2008 - This past week, JT Farm competed at two horse shows near their home base in New York and their farm in Florida. At JT Farm, led by trainer Jimmy Toon of South Salem, NY, riders of all levels are welcome and are afforded the very best training by a staff of experienced, caring professionals who are committed to excellence in the show ring in equitation, hunters and jumpers. At the Old Salem Farm Horse Show in North Salem, NY, the championship in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters went to Accolade, ridden and owned by Dudley MacFarlane of Darien, CT. Assistant trainer Caley Thomas rode home-bred All the Stars to the championship in the Pre-Green Hunters. New JT Farm student Francesca Giammalva rode Heir Apparent to fifth place in the Marshall and Sterling Children’s Hunter Classic. She also placed fifth in the Marshall and Sterling Children’s Medal class and second in the State Line Medal class. At the CN Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), Jimmy Toon piloted Triple X, owned by JT Farm, to third place in the Pre-Green 3’3” Hunter division. Alexandra Arute rode JT Farm’s Avalon to victory in the Large Junior 16-17 Hunter stake class. Ellen Toon and Attaché, last year’s reserve champion USEF Horse of the Year, picked up two second place ribbons in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunter division. Brianne Link, last year’s WEF Short Stirrup circuit champion, has moved up to the Children’s Pony Hunter division. She picked up ribbons with her ponies Asgard Mercury and Foxcroft Veronsky. JT Farm will compete next at the fourth week of the CN WEF on Feb. 6-10, 2008. |
